Sioux Falls, SD – February 2020 – Macurco Gas Detection, a leading developer of gas detection solutions for fire and security, HVAC, industrial, and personal safety announcing its new CX-6 and CX-12 Dual Carbon Monoxide and Nitrogen Dioxide Monitor.

Macurco’s newest innovative product is available in low-voltage (CX-6) and line-voltage (CX-12) versions. 

The CX-6 / CX-12 is a dual-sensor monitor that helps maintain acceptable levels of Carbon Monoxide & Nitrogen Dioxide. This monitor is an ideal solution for vehicle exhaust applications such as parking garages, loading docks, warehouses, car dealerships, distribution centers/warehousing, and any vehicle exhaust-based applications where Carbon Monoxide and Nitrogen Dioxide gases are present. The CX-6 and CX-12 can be used as a stand-alone monitor and controller and as an analog transducer for use with the Macurco control panel and other systems.

The dual-sensor monitor complies with the International Code Council ICC 2018, section 404.1 Enclosed Parking Garages, which states, “Mechanical ventilation systems for enclosed parking garages shall operate continuously or shall be automatically operated by means of carbon monoxide detectors applied in conjunction with nitrogen dioxide detectors.”

The CX-6 / CX-12 has replaceable two-year Carbon Monoxide and Nitrogen Dioxide sensors with an end-of-life notification to know when sensors need to be replaced. For testing and calibrating the monitor, the CX Field Calibration Kit (CX-FCK) is an ideal solution that includes both Carbon Monoxide and Nitrogen Dioxide gas.
