Macurco Adds Newest Carbon Dioxide Monitor with a range of 0-5% by vol.
Sioux Falls, SD – December 2, 2019 – Macurco Gas Detection, a leading developer of gas detection solutions for fire and security, HVAC, industrial, and personal safety announced its new CD-6B Carbon Dioxide Monitor.
Macurco’s newest innovative CD-6B Carbon Monoxide Monitor
The CD-6B is a low voltage monitor that provides three alarm levels with the addition of three relays for controlling external devices to help maintain acceptable levels of Carbon Dioxide in the beverage and food industries, greenhouses, pharmaceutical, and other chemical processing or other commercial applications.
The CD-6B complies with the International Fire Code 5307, which states “Where ventilation is not provided in accordance with Section 5307.3.1, a gas detection system shall be provided in rooms or indoor areas and in below-grade outdoor locations with insulated carbon dioxide systems.”
“A factor in launching the CD-6B is due to the 2018 IFC compliance on beverage dispensing as well as the upcoming industry of cannabis grow facilities. CO2 legislation in the beverage industry encompasses a life safety solution, one that our CD-6B is compliant with. In the greenhouse and grow facility industry manipulation of plant photosynthesis by increasing Carbon Dioxide levels can significantly improve plant growth and yields therefore increasing revenue.” said Branden Dewing, Macurco Gas Detection, Hazardous Solutions Specialist.
