Sioux Falls, SD –May 24th, 2022 – Macurco Gas Detection, a leading developer of gas detection solutions for fire and security, HVAC, industrial, and personal safety, announced its new innovative Refrigerant Leak Detector (VRF).
The Macurco RD-VRF Refrigerant Gas Detector is designed to provide continuous refrigerant monitoring in VRF applications that pose an oxygen-depleting environment due to a leak in refrigerant gas. This detector is essential in providing warnings at low levels of refrigerant leaks which can be monitored locally or via a BMS.
The RD-VRF series is a stand-alone detector that will have a 4-week lead time and will be made to order. There will be two voltage options, a 24V & a 120V available to order. It will have a very stable NDIR sensor and with come with an aesthetically pleasing flush mount faceplate. Due to design, minimal maintenance is required.
The RD-VRF monitors possible refrigerant leaks in applications such as hotels, apartments, hospitality, restaurants, child-care facilities, etc.
