Macurco introduces DVP-1200 Gas Detection Controller

Sioux Falls, SD –November 13, 2020 – Macurco Gas Detection, a leading developer of gas detection solutions for fire and security, HVAC, industrial, and personal safety, announced its new innovative DVP-1200 ventilation panel.

The DVP-1200 controller, in conjunction with Macurco gas detectors, provides automatic control to help maintain an acceptable environment in parking garages or other applications.

A key benefit of the DVP-1200 is the ability to control up to 192 addressable Macurco gas detectors. This benefit provides ease of use, data aggregation for better safety, and productivity efficiencies, ultimately increasing revenue. The DVP-1200 comes standard with four relays, as well as expandable onboard relay options (+2, +4). Other outputs on the DVP-1200 include three analog outputs, four 24VDC drivers, and BACnet IP.  The DVP-1200 can be connected to up to two remote relay boxes, with each remote relay box containing two relays.

Additional benefits of this panel include utilizing a BACnet output that serves data and key events back to a company’s Building Management System (BMS), a lockable NEMA4X-rated enclosure for protection, and event logging for accountability. The automatic control of ventilation systems when gas values hit key levels is a key feature of the DVP-1200, ultimately offering faster response time, which will maximize worker safety and peace of mind.
