Macurco’s newest AimSafety portable gas solution lineup addition is the PM500 sampling-type monitor. The PM500 is a series of portable multi-gas instruments with a built-in pump designed to warn users of a dangerous gas environment. The detector simultaneously indicates the concentration of up to six gases, including Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Oxygen, and Combustibles, along with others like Carbon Dioxide, Ammonia, Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, and VOCs, on the LCD display. When a concentration exceeds safe gas levels, the device alerts the operators of danger with audible, visual, and vibrating alarms. The device shows the gas concentrations in real-time and identifies maximum and minimum concentrations. The settings can be modified via PC software through the PM Link accessory (purchased separately). The most significant difference is that users will be able to draw a sample with the internal pump.
